The house is situated in Lot Valley, in a tiny hamlet called Annat just above the medieval village of Estaing. The village has a picturesque Château, a 12th Century gothic bridge spanning the River Lot and is listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France. Estaing is in the Aveyron region, part of Midi-Pyrénées in South West France.
